Here's The Way Its Gonna Work

I will usually post forms on the other blog site djochum2.blogspot.com, but I thought, since this form outlines the WHAT and the HOW we will be working, I would post it here instead.

CLASSROOM LOGISTICS

Skyline Center
A variety of Art Books and magazines are available on counters for student research
A variety of “Source Material” is located in binders on counters.
Still-life objects are located in various cupboards in the room.
Paper for “idea drawings” is located in bin on counter.
Students will keep on-going projects and idea drawings in a portfolio in end drawers.
Students will keep personal art materials in plastic bags/containers in cupboards.
All “public” media will be brought out as students’ needs warrant.
CYCLE (6 weeks) REQUIREMENTS
Students will produce 1 or more finished works of art during the cycle.
Student will receive one sheet of 18 X 24 Drawing Paper.  Student may complete one work of art of this size OR cut the paper in 2, completing 2... 12 X 18 works, OR into 4 pieces, completing 4 ...9X12 works, OR in 8 pieces,... 6X9.
Students will keep a daily log in a spiral notebook, which will be graded 2X during the cycle.  Neatness and Completeness will determine the grade.
Students will create a 6 week test using the form provided.  This test will include both the questions (10) and the answers (10).
Students will turn in their Self-Directed Grade sheet with a final grade tallied.
TYPICAL CLASS PERIOD TIME ALLOTMENT
Demonstration of procedures and/or media...............10 minutes
Art 21 Videos and/or other video demos.................... 10 minutes
Student Self-Directed Curriculum (Studio Work).........60 minutes
Daily Log recording ( Recalling notes, diary of work)...10 minutes
